The last days of summer are just around the corner, but that doesn’t mean you can’t enjoy summer food and drinks.

Award-winning mixologist Gabe Orta of Broken Shaker is not yet ready to say goodbye to the season. Orta has partnered with TABASCO sauce to prepare recipes that will help keep you in the sunny spirit even after Labor Day.

1. Chipotle Chinola by Gabe Orta of Bar-Lab + Broken Shaker

A cocktail with smoked mezcal and fruit flavors

Chipotle Chinola

Ingredients:

  • .5 oz. chinola liquor
  • .5 oz. light agave
  • 1 oz. lime juice

Decorate:

preparation: Put all the ingredients in a cocktail shaker. Add ice and beat for 8-10 seconds. Filter the contents into a glass filled with ice. Decorate with lemon wedge and add Tajin. Health!

2. Green Pepper Papi by Gabe Orta of Bar-Lab + Broken Shaker

A refreshing gin cocktail with a spicy touch of TABASCO Green Sauce

Green Pepper Papi

Ingredients:

  • 1 oz. lime juice
  • .5 oz. cucumber juice
  • .5 oz. syrup
  • Add sparkling water

Decorate:

Rosemary sprig

preparation:

Add all the ingredients except the sparkling water to the cocktail mixer. Fill with ice and beat for 8-10 seconds. Filter the contents into a glass filled with ice. Add sparkling water and decorate with rosemary sprig.
