Simple to prepare in a bain-marie …

Those of us who love good food and delicious sweets, we spend our time looking for recipes that we can enjoy and share with our family. Desserts without a doubt they are one of our favorites. That is why below we show you the ingredients and steps to follow to prepare a rich recipe for chocoflan. Enjoy it!


For the flan:

  • 1 can of evaporated milk
  • 1 can of condensed milk
  • 7 ounces cream cheese
  • 5 eggs at room temperature
  • 2 teaspoons of vanilla
  • Olive oil in spray

For the bread:

  • 1 box of flour for chocolate cake
  • Butter as indicated in the box of flour


  • Prepare the chocolate cake mix according to the box in a separate container
  • Mix in a blender the flan ingredients.
  • Grease a 24cm aluminum mold with the olive oil spray
  • Add the cake mix to the middle of the pan and the flan mixture in the center
  • Place the pan in the oven at about 350 ° F for 50 min in a water bath

NOTE: The bain-marie is a method to provide the uniform temperature to a liquid or solid substance or to heat it slowly. To heat in a bain-marie, a small container must be immersed in a larger one containing water.

  • After time, verify that it is fully cooked. The mixture must be firm and solid
  • When ready, remove it from the oven and put it in the refrigerator at least 3 hours before serving
  • If you wish, to decorate you can use almond and crushed walnut on the chocoflan.
